ROA - Hida Low - Black
Product Description
ROA’s Hida Low takes its name from Japan’s rugged Hida Mountains and is engineered for stability, support, and confidence across mixed alpine terrain. Designed with a structured and appropriately rigid build, this low-cut silhouette offers exceptional foot protection over rocky paths, technical passages, and even snowfields — all while maintaining the comfort needed for long, multi-day treks.
The upper is crafted from sturdy, reflective Cordura®, providing both durability and enhanced visibility in challenging environments. A stretch mesh pocket on the tongue keeps laces secure and hidden, adding functional reliability during movement. Underfoot, the Vibram® Litebase sole ensures outstanding grip with reduced overall weight, while the Ortholite® X-40 insole delivers superior cushioning and insulation. A TPU back spoiler makes the shoe compatible with semi-automatic crampons, extending its capability into light mountaineering.
